Jens Wachtel

Jens Wachtel has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 2011, they had internships and a working student position at SAP, where they gained experience in software engineering. In 2012, they joined HUGE Inc. as a Software Engineer and stayed until 2015. During this time, they also co-founded and worked as a Freelancer at W&H Technologies GbR. In 2013, they joined Anthesis GmbH as a Technology Consultant/SAP Developer for a year. In 2015, they worked briefly at NorthPoint Solutions LLC as a Senior Consultant before joining EY as a Senior Advisory TE, Digital. Jens left EY in 2016 and joined SAP, where they held the roles of Senior Technology Consultant and Principal Technology Consultant until 2019. From 2020 to 2022, Jens worked at Aterian (NASDAQ: ATER) as an Engineering Manager. Currently, they are employed at MarketAxess as a Senior Engineering Manager.

Jens Wachtel's education history begins in 2007 when they attended Berufsschule Obernburg and obtained a University Entrance Diploma. Jens then continued their education at Fachhochschule Darmstadt from 2008 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. Following that, Jens pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at Fachhochschule Darmstadt from 2011 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Jens Wachtel has obtained several certifications. In 2013, they completed the SAP TERP10 Course offered by the University of Duisburg-Essen. In 2014, they became a Sitecore Certified Professional Developer through Sitecore USA. Most recently, in 2019, Jens obtained the Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google.
