Derrick Obara

Derrick Obara is an experienced professional in technical training and documentation, currently serving as a Manager of Training and Certification at Markforged since October 2018. Within the same company, Derrick has held multiple roles, including Manager of Technical Documentation and Training, Metal X Senior Field Technical Trainer, and Field Technical Trainer. Prior to joining Markforged, Derrick worked as a Materials Engineer at Hamilton Sundstrand from June 2008 to October 2018. Derrick holds a Master of Science in Materials Process Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (2009-2012) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (2004-2008).
