Markon Solutions
As a senior member of the Department of Defense portfolio, Cathy has been a lead contributor to Markon’s Marine Corps account since 2009. Serving in an array of capacities, her depth of experience in strategic planning, program management, change management, and cost estimating has made her a ‘go-to’ counselor.
Cathy was a key member of the team that planned and executed the consolidation of individual combat equipment, Chem-Bio equipment, soft-walled shelters, and ancillary equipment across the Marine Corps. From 2009 through 2012, Cathy supported the development of the USMC Class VIII Enterprise Management Initiative. These projects help the Marine Corps avoid millions of dollars in costs each year. The projects also required skilled change management, expert communication, and adept transformation expertise. She now supports intelligence programs at Marine Corps Systems Command.
Cathy’s 35 years of corporate experience includes work at General Motors, IBM, and Lockheed Martin. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and is a credentialed Program Management Professional.
