Alex Omand

Alex Omand is an experienced product manager with a strong background in software development and technology project management. Currently serving as the Head of Product for Developer Platforms at Marks and Spencer since January 2020, Alex leads a team focused on building impactful products that enhance developer experience and accelerate software development. Previous roles at Marks and Spencer include Senior Product Manager positions in Developer Platforms and Retail APIs, where Alex was responsible for creating effective tooling and enterprise APIs for the engineering community. Alex also held a Senior Technical Project Manager position at Product Madness, managing technical teams and driving adaptive processes. An educational background includes an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire and a BEng in Aerospace Engineering and Astronautics from Kingston University.
