Michael McGill

Michael McGill has a diverse work experience in the explosives engineering industry. Michael is currently the Director of Explosives Engineering at Martin Marietta since 2018. Prior to that, they worked at EPC Canada as the Manager of Business Development from 2017 to 2018. From 2012 to 2018, they served as the President of Viking Mine Services. Michael also gained extensive experience at Davey Bickford, where they held various positions including New Business Development Manager USA & Canada, Senior Business Development Manager Eastern USA and Canada, and Senior Technical and Business Development Support Manager, US and Canada, from 2013 to 2016. Before that, they worked as a Technical Sales Coordinator at Viking Explosives & Supply, Inc. from 2004 to 2012. Michael started their career at Orica USA, Inc. as the District Director from 1996 to 2004 and worked as a Technical Manager at ICI Explosives USA from 1991 to 1996. Michael began their career as a Salesman at Atlas Powder Company from 1986 to 1991.

Michael McGill completed their Masters in Mining Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, where they studied from 1980 to 1985. In addition, they obtained a certification in "J.T. O'Donnell on Making Recruiters Come to You" from LinkedIn in 2016.
