Prior to Grom, James worked at SAP as a Service Delivery Manager from July 2011 to April 2012, where they delivered SAP support services across eight clients and managed global delivery teams.
James also has experience working at Rio Tinto as a Program Manager from July 2010 to June 2011, where they set up a program to efficiently manage IT system upgrades and maintenance activities.
In addition, James served as the Managing Director Australia at Intelligroup from February 2008 to June 2010. James played a key role in establishing an outsourcing agreement with New Zealand and directed multiple projects, including a multi-million-dollar SAP system upgrade.
Before Intelligroup, James held various roles at Telecom New Zealand, KiwiRail, Texaco, and Unilever, gaining experience in finance-related systems management, management accounting, systems accounting, and industrial engineering.
Overall, James Pearce possesses a strong background in IT leadership, SAP support services, strategic planning, and project management across multiple industries.
James Pearce attended Wanganui Collegiate School from 1979 to 1982. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at the University of Otago from 1984 to 1986. James obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with a focus on Economics and Management, during their time at the university.
