Abdulaziz Alobaidli currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company) since March 2023. Prior to this role, Abdulaziz held various leadership positions within TAQA Group, including Director overseeing domestic generation and Vice President managing Power and Water operations in the GCC from March 2018 to February 2023. Abdulaziz has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, including serving as General Manager at Shams Power Company and several project management roles at Masdar. Additionally, Abdulaziz co-founded Emirates Environmental Services Center and has contributed to sustainability initiatives while pursuing a strong academic background with degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Energy Engineering, complemented by executive education at London Business School.
