Jim Moore

Utilities Manager at MassDevelopment

Jim joined MassDevelopment in 1998 assisting with the formation of a reuse plan for the former South Weymouth Naval Air Station, closed by the 1995 BRAC action. Jim had recently completed a 26-year military career in the Navy with NAS South Weymouth having been his last duty assignment. His military specialty was Aviation Electronics Technician/Air Warfare and retired with the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer (E-8). In 1999 Jim applied for and was accepted to fill an opening position as a Project Engineer at Devens in the newly forming Utilities Department. In 2008 Jim was promoted to fill the opening Manager position and has served in that position until now.
