Catherine Mondoa is a seasoned materials specialist with a diverse background in materials research and education. Currently serving as a Senior Materials Specialist at Material ConneXion since February 2023, Catherine also founded Materials People, a podcast focused on conversations among materials practitioners. Prior experiences include roles as a Private Tutor at Clubz In Home Tutoring, Pearls Research Lead at Notpla, and Undergraduate Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University. Catherine holds a Master of Arts in Textiles: Soft Systems from the Royal College of Art and a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
