Wim Vanhoof

Wim Vanhoof serves as the Global IT Director at Materialise since January 2023, bringing extensive IT leadership experience from previous roles. At allnex, Wim held the position of Head of Enterprise IT Solutions & Governance, overseeing IT stack operations, service management, and alignment with business functions from November 2013 to December 2022. Wim also served as Head of Global IT Services, managing operational IT processes and application support, and held the role of Global IT Transition & Transformation Manager, establishing a new IT operations framework during a corporate carve-out. Prior to allnex, Wim worked at De Persgroep, managing ICT infrastructure and operations, and held various managerial positions at Belgacom Mobile - Proximus, focusing on storage and UNIX engineering. Early career experience includes IT infrastructure project leadership at Dolmen Consulting and system engineering roles at Shell Belgium and AES Prodata. Wim holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering - Electronics | Telecommunications from Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven and an ICT Management degree from Vlerick Business School.
