Matrix New World Engineering
Ashleigh Elkins is a Scientist at Matrix New World Engineering, where responsibilities include reviewing laboratory data for the Tank Site Improvement Plan (TSIP) to address soil and groundwater contamination. Previous experience includes a Center Operations Sustainability Internship at NASA, where contributions involved developing internal sustainability initiatives and community outreach. Ashleigh also served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida, focusing on efficient biofuel systems, and held roles at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and the U.S. Department of Energy as a Research & Development Intern and Mickey Leland Energy Fellow, respectively. Additional experience includes research assistance at the U.S. Geological Survey and engagement in environmental projects at the University of North Florida. Ashleigh earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Florida.
