Dr. Rajarajan Sivaraj is a Group Director of Telco AI architecture at Mavenir, where responsibilities include serving as the chief architect for RIC/SMO and NIaaS features with integrated AI/ML capabilities, as well as leading the O-RAN standards delegation. Dr. Sivaraj has a robust history in telecommunications, with previous roles such as Director for O-RAN RIC architecture and standards, and Project Leader for the 2022 Open RAN Whitepaper at 5GAmericas. Experience at AT&T Labs, Microsoft Research, and various research internships has contributed to expertise in cellular RAN optimization, mobile edge computing, and radio resource management. Dr. Sivaraj also served as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of California, Davis, teaching graduate courses on 5G cellular networks. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis, along with significant academic publications in noteworthy journals.
