Chantelle then worked as an Administrative Assistant at Key West Ford Sales Ltd from February 2010 to November 2010. From December 2010 to July 2013, they were a Facilitator in the Project Management Assistant Group at Phoenix Restorations Ltd. Chantelle joined McElhanney in July 2013 as a Proposal & Communications Specialist, and eventually became the Team Lead for Proposals, Marketing & Communications in October 2021. Chantelle'smost recent role at McElhanney was as the Brand Sustainment Lead & Senior Marketing Specialist starting in February 2023.

Chantelle Mitha has an Introduction to Emergency Management in Canada Certification from the Justice Institute of British Columbia in 2010.
