Rhonda Herman has extensive experience in the publishing industry, currently serving as President of McFarland since December 2014. McFarland, established in 1979, boasts over 7000 titles in print and 4000 ebooks, specializing in peer-reviewed academic and non-fiction works. Additionally, Rhonda has been the Publisher of North Korean Review since 2004, which is the sole journal dedicated to North Korea, collaborating with Yonsei University in South Korea for its editorship. Prior to their role as President, Rhonda held the position of Executive Vice President at McFarland from 2004 to 2014. Rhonda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Appalachian State University, where studies took place from 1975 to 1977.
