Earlier in their career, Whitley was a Senior Associate Attorney at James Sibold & Associates, LLC, specializing in residential relocation closings, and worked at Kenney & Solomon from 1999 to 2004. Additionally, Whitley gained experience as an intern architect at Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart & Stewart from 1987 to 1990. Debbie Whitley earned a Juris Doctor degree from Georgia State University College of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
