Tony Song is a seasoned professional in GPU compiler development, currently serving as Sr. Director and GPU Compiler Architect/Lead at MediaTek since January 2022. Prior to this role, Tony held various engineering and management positions at Qualcomm from July 2010 to January 2022, where expertise in OpenGL and DirectX compilers was developed. Earlier in the career, Tony gained experience as a Sr. Engineer on GPU compilers at Intel Corporation from February 2006 to July 2010. Tony's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Programming from Waseda University, a Master's degree in Computer Science from Jilin University, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Nanjing University.
