Joe Kocik

Joe Kocik is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in UX/UI management and creative direction. Currently serving as Principal UX/UI Manager at Medica since March 2025, Joe Kocik also operates Joe Kocik Design, handling all aspects of the business since January 2007. Previously, Joe Kocik held various roles at HealthPartners from November 2017 to March 2025, advancing from UX Supervisor to UX Manager, and Lead UI Designer. Joe Kocik's background includes serving as Senior Art Director / UX and UI Designer at MJ Kretsinger, and Art Director at 1050 Design, where Joe Kocik implemented a design studio for a major packaging company. Early career experiences include roles as a Graphic Designer and Sales Representative at Impressions Inc. Joe Kocik holds a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Graphic Design from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and a BA in Studio Art with a minor in Business Management from Saint John's University.
