Janat Fazal Salom is a Clinical Research Development Manager at Medica Scientia Innovation Research (MEDSIR) since May 2020, overseeing the Scientific Unit focused on developing clinical studies for cancer treatment optimization. Previous roles at MEDSIR include Business Development Specialist and Medical Writing and Scientific Communications Specialist, contributing to oncology clinical trial proposals and medical documentation. Janat co-founded Sci Hands, an initiative aimed at enhancing scientific collaboration in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMIC), and worked as a Conference Producer for Neo-Synth, organizing cancer conferences. Earlier experience includes serving as a Trusts and Corporate Fundraising Executive at The Institute of Cancer Research. Janat holds a PhD in Cancer Research from The Institute of Cancer Research and several degrees in biomedicine and biotechnology from notable institutions.
