Olga Boix, PhD, currently serves as a Scientific Impact Specialist at MEDSIR since September 2023, focusing on medical writing, copywriting, and scientific dissemination in clinical oncology. Previously, Olga worked at the Vall d´Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO) from October 2016 to December 2022 as a scientist and researcher, where notable contributions included discovering a novel protein's role in skin biology and epithelial tumors, leading to a patented clinical application for potential anti-tumor therapies. Olga also directed a research project on Caveolin-1 during a junior scientist position at CNIC from October 2015 to June 2016. Additional experience includes work at The Institute of Cancer Research and the Centro de Investigación Príncipe Felipe (CIPF). Olga holds a PhD in Biomedicine from Universitat de Barcelona and is pursuing an Advanced Copywriting Course, complementing a solid foundation in biotechnology and molecular biomedicine from prior studies.
