Eric Gillberg

Eric Gillberg is an experienced athletic trainer currently serving as a Senior Athletic Trainer with MedTrust, LLC since May 2020, focusing on VIPER Sports Medicine for Air Force Basic Military Training at JBSA Lackland AFB. Prior to this role, Eric worked at the University of the Incarnate Word® from June 2016 to May 2020, providing healthcare support primarily for the baseball team. Eric's early career includes a decade at Kansas Wesleyan University as an Athletic Trainer and Assistant Professor, starting in August 2006 and concluding in May 2016. Eric holds a Master's Degree in Sports Administration from Wichita State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training/Trainer & Movement Sciences from Texas Christian University.
