Claude Perdrillat

In 1970, Claude joined France Telecom in Paris where he filled several positions related to telecommunication networks and business development. There, he headed numerous international projects.

In 1979, he founded SMT, a French computer company, and was a key stakeholder of Genesys, the first reservation less conferencing company in the world.

In the nineties, in Colorado, he served as the leader of the US West/ France Telecom `CommunityLink’ joint Project (Minitel).

Later, Claude was instrumental in the emergence of the IM/XMPP technology, the growth of Jabber and its acquisition by Cisco. Also, he did then enjoy a deep involvement in MPEGLA, the rise of MPEG4 standard and a productive friendship with Adobe in new eLearning fields.

On the technical side, Claude got his Engineer Degree from Ecole Centrale de Paris and a Doctoral Degree in Chemistry & Computer Science from Paris University.
