Ravi M Ravichandhira Oam

Ravi M Ravichandhira OAM is a distinguished professional in the fields of civil engineering and performing arts, holding a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Civil Engineering from City St George’s, University of London, and a Bachelor of Music in Indian Classical Music from the University of Jaffna. Currently, Ravi serves as a Partner at the Indian Performing Arts Convention Australia and as a Freelance Recognised Practising Interpreter at LanguageLoop, while also working as a Sessional Lecturer at Melbourne Polytechnic focusing on South Indian Percussion and Konnakkol. With a long-standing commitment to the arts, Ravi has held positions as Co-Artistic Director at both the Academy of Indian Music Australia Inc. and The Academy of Indian Music & Cultural Studies Aust Inc. Previously, Ravi managed traffic operations and planning at VicRoads, ensuring the safety and efficiency of arterial road networks in Metropolitan Melbourne.
