Camilla Somers

Camilla Somers is the manager of strategic initiatives and planning in the Higher Learning program and across programs and research. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2019, Ms. Somers served as a program officer at the International Rescue Committee and as manager of communications in the president's office at Carnegie Corporation of New York. She began her career as an editor and reporter with the New Jersey Hills Media Group.

Ms. Somers majored in history and Italian studies at Smith College and earned a master of public administration degree from New York University's Wagner School of Public Service, where she specialized in international policy and management.
