Danielle Watkins has experience in the field of nutrition and food development. Danielle worked as the Head of Nutrition and Food Development at Mellors Catering Services from February 2015 to present. Prior to that, they worked as a Nutritionist at abm catering Limited from April 2010 to December 2014, and at Compass Group from March 2007 to March 2010. Danielle also had a work placement at Compass Group from 2006 to 2007.

Danielle first attended Sheffield Hallam University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health and Nutrition with a focus on Public Health Nutrition. Years later, from 2019 to 2021, they pursued further education at Hospitality Industry Training, gaining a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management within the hospitality industry.
