Sarah Dattani is the Vice President of Engineering at Memrise. Sarah has over fifteen years of experience in the software engineering field.

Sarah started their career at Goldman Sachs as a Senior Analyst Developer. Sarah then moved to Isobar, where they were a Technical Manager. In 2011, Sarah became the Technical Director at Playfish.

In 2016, Sarah joined King as their Development Director. During their time at King, they oversaw the development of impactful products for both customers and agents. The teams' products won several industry awards, including "Best Design of the Year" and "Best Achievement in Customer Service."

In 2019, Sarah left King to join Capital One as their Director of Software Engineering. Sarah led a cross-functional tribe of 75+ mobile, front-end, and back-end engineers and Technical Programme Managers. Under Sarah's leadership, the team won the "Social Inclusion in Financial Services" award at the 2020 UK Card & Payments Awards.

Sarah is currently the Vice President of Engineering at Memrise. In this role, they are responsible for leading the engineering team and developing new features for the Memrise platform.

Sarah Dattani has a BA and MA in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, an Msc in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of London, and a Level 1 in Chartered Financial Analysis from the Chartered Financial Analysis School.
