Mohammed Kamal

Mohammed Kamal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in venture capital, fintech, and digital payments. Currently serving as a Venture Partner at Mendoza Ventures and a Limited Partner and Advisor at Geek Ventures, Kamal focuses on incubating businesses and investing in early-stage companies, particularly in fintech and AI sectors. Previously, as SVP of Engineering and Cofounder of BillPayments at Mastercard, Kamal led transformative initiatives that reduced operating costs and enhanced product scaling, contributing significantly to Mastercard's growth in the payments industry. Additional roles at Mastercard and Vocalink further demonstrate a strong background in software engineering, mergers and acquisitions, and operational leadership. Kamal holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from McGill University, a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, and completed Venture Capital Investing at VC Lab.
