John Casey

John Casey, Jr. currently serves as the CEO of Ormoni Bio since January 2025 and is a Venture Partner at Pillar VC, starting in November 2023. Previously, John held the role of Vice President and Head of Business Development at Senda Biosciences (now Sail Biomedicines) from October 2018 to October 2023 and co-founded the company. John's extensive experience includes being a Principal at Flagship Pioneering from September 2015 to October 2020, as well as founding Kintai Therapeutics and co-founding Inari. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where John also served as a Communication Fellow and Associate Director for the MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition. Prior education includes a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering from Louisiana State University and participation as a Visiting Scholar at Heilongjiang University.
