Devon Hawkes Ludlow

Devon Hawkes Ludlow has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Devon Hawkes is currently working as a Host at PBS since February 2020. In 2013, they founded and directed the production company called The Human Beast Box, which specializes in creating live music, performance, and films using puppets. Devon Hawkes has also worked as a Guest Artist at Meow Wolf since August 2016 and took on additional roles such as Puppet Design, Producer, and Writer from November 2018 to February 2020.

Devon has also contributed to the field of education, serving as a Guest Teacher at the New Mexico School for the Arts: High School and Art Institute from March 2017 to May 2018. Devon Hawkes has worked as a Guest Artist at the New Mexico School for the Arts, where they collaborated with students to produce a short live-action puppet film.

In the past, Devon demonstrated their entrepreneurial skills as the Founder and CEO of The Station, LLC from March 2011 to November 2016. Devon Hawkes managed and directed a team, conducted market research, handled financial planning, and prepared the company for launch. Additionally, Devon worked as a Freelance Web Developer (Wordpress) at Three Monkeys Design from January 2014 to August 2016.

Furthermore, Devon has contributed to the field of journalism as a Freelance Writer for the Santa Fe New Mexican from September 2013 to September 2015. Devon Hawkes focused on writing personal profiles, arts, and entertainment articles for the major paper in the state capital and Northern New Mexico. Devon Hawkes also worked as a Freelance Editor/Writer at Clare Hertel Communications from April 2013 to September 2015.

Lastly, Devon worked as a Post Production Consultant at Red Rock Films from November 2013 to May 2015.

Devon Hawkes Ludlow pursued their education from 1995 to 1999 at Bard College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Theatre.
