Ryan Simmons has a varied work experience. Ryan started in 1997 as a Software Developer at Arthur Andersen Technology Solutions. Ryan then moved on to Allscripts, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer for over 10 years. After that, they worked at ClubSoft as a Software Engineer and at Mercalis as a Software/Business Intelligence Developer. Ryan later joined WakeMed as a Business Intelligence Analyst, where they also served as a MicroStrategy Administrator/Developer and Epic Systems Reporting Administrator. Currently, they are working at Mercalis as an IT Tech Lead and MicroStrategy BI Developer/Administrator.
Ryan Simmons completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Management Information Systems from East Carolina University, where they attended from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications in Reporting Workbench Administration from Epic Systems, as well as various certifications from MicroStrategy, including MicroStrategy Certified Document Developer (CDD), MicroStrategy Certified Platform Administrator (CPA), MicroStrategy Certified Project Designer (CPD), and MicroStrategy Certified Report Developer (CRD).
