Andreas Heidelberg

Andreas Heidelberg is an experienced director in the field of digital chemistry and business R&D at Merck Group, where responsibilities have included leading various departments since January 2015. Prior roles at Merck Group encompassed heading Point-of-Use Marketing and R&D, R&D Analytical and Digital Technologies, and advanced analytics in new technologies. Prior to Merck, Andreas served as Head of Technology and Manager of Process Integration at Masdar PV GmbH from April 2009 to December 2014, and worked at Qimonda as Leadengineer and System Expert from October 2005 to March 2009. Academic qualifications include a Dr. rer. nat. in Chemistry and a Diplom in Chemistry, both obtained from the University of Düsseldorf.
