Mark Venter

Mark Venter is an experienced Technology Portfolio Manager at Mercury NZ, overseeing the management of key IT systems for the generation business since June 2017. Venter has held various leadership roles, including Programme Manager, where significant projects such as office relocation and IT system separation were successfully executed. Previous experience includes IT Project Manager at Foodstuffs North Island Limited, where an eCommerce solution was developed, and Programme Manager at Southern Cross Travel Insurance, focusing on IT infrastructure and cloud-based systems. With a solid foundation in strategic IT architecture and project management from roles at Microsoft, PwC, and other organizations, Venter holds an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration and an MSc in Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
