Mercy College
Jayne Burt-Ozyildirim serves as a Senior Instructor in the School of Liberal Arts at Mercy College since January 2013, teaching a range of literature and composition courses as well as critical inquiry seminars. In addition to teaching, Jayne functions as a Writing & Learning Support Specialist and Graduate Writing Specialist, providing comprehensive writing guidance to both undergraduate and graduate students across various disciplines. Previous experience includes roles as an English and AP Literature teacher in the Norristown Area School District, long-term substitute teaching, and freelance work as a proofreader and blog editor. Jayne holds a Master of Arts in English Literature from West Chester University and two bachelor's degrees from Bloomsburg University in English and Secondary Education.
