Steve Cavazos

Steve Cavazos has extensive experience in internal communications and development support within non-profit and academic settings. Currently serving as the Global Internal Communications Officer at Mercy Corps since December 2016, Steve is responsible for the creation, dissemination, and tracking of internal communications, while also leading strategic initiatives for the organization. Previously, Steve held roles including Senior Coordinator Internal Communications and Development Coordinator at Mercy Corps, where responsibilities encompassed administrative support for the Corporate and Foundations team and organizing meetings and logistics. Prior experience includes the position of Development Assistant at Lewis & Clark College, providing essential administrative support to multiple departments and managing data entry for fundraising efforts.
