Nicholas Apanius

Senior Vice President at Messer

Nick’s career with Messer began in 1999 after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Cincinnati the same year. In 2008, he earned LEED accreditation from the Green Building Certification Institute, making him a LEED AP®.

Growing into his career with Messer led Nick to increased responsibilities including senior project manager, project executive, Health Care vice president, and vice president of process improvement.​ Most notably, Nick led the Health Care Task Force and led the successful integration of Lean principles into Messer’s culture.

Today, Nick leads the Human Resources and Professional Development Departments, and leads the Administrative Services group. He also has the roles of EEO officer, senior vice president of Messer’s Cincinnati region and secretary of the Messer Construction Co. board.
