Reza Mohammadi Ghazi is a Senior Machine Learning Software Engineer at Meta, with a rich background in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Previous positions include Senior AI & Machine Learning Engineer at ConvaTec and Senior Research Scientist at BioSensics, where Reza invented a fully automated algorithm for assessing upper extremity disabilities and led a project on motion segmentation using wearable sensors. A postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, Reza developed local search techniques for grid optimization and created a topological error detection algorithm for power grids.
