Fred McGee has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as Lead Quality Reviewer at MetaStar, Inc. since September 2011, where quality reviews for HMOs and MCOs serving Medicaid are conducted. Prior to this role, Fred served as Principal at McGee Health Care Consulting, LLC from 2010 to September 2011, specializing in strategic planning, process improvement, and physician workforce planning among other services. From 1993 to 2009, Fred held the position of Vice President of Planning & Public Affairs at Meriter Health Services, overseeing strategic planning and decision support functions for a large healthcare system with significant revenues and staffing. Fred holds a Master of Health Administration from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Appalachian State University.
