Jasmine D. is a seasoned professional in policy and biosecurity, currently serving as a member of the Policy Team at METR since May 2025 and as an Emerging Leader in Biosecurity Fellow with The Johns Hopkins University since January 2023. Previously, Jasmine held the positions of Chief of Staff at FutureHouse from December 2024 to June 2025 and Senior Program Associate at Open Philanthropy between August 2023 and December 2024. Additionally, Jasmine participated in the Diplomatic Fast Stream program at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office from October 2019 to August 2024 and served as a Policy Officer at the Ministry of Justice UK for a brief period in 2018. Jasmine's early career includes research work at Less Meat Less Heat in 2016. Educational qualifications include A Levels from Langley Grammar School, a degree in Philosophy from Monash University, and a BA (Hons) in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Warwick, with an intercalated year abroad.
