Kyle Scott

Kyle Scott is an experienced operations lead currently working at METR since May 2023, where the focus is on evaluating frontier AI systems. Previously, Kyle served as Operations Manager at the Alignment Research Center from July 2021, leading operations since its inception. Notable roles also include Adjunct Instructor at the Center for Applied Rationality from February 2021 to September 2022 and Operations and Finance Manager at the Berkeley Existential Risk Initiative from October 2017 to May 2020. Earlier experiences include Executive Assistant to Nick Bostrom at the University of Oxford Future of Humanity Institute and various positions at the Centre for Effective Altruism and 80,000 Hours. Kyle holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Whitman College and has participated in international studies through Rotary.
