Chris Koch

Chris Koch has extensive experience in risk management and safety assurance within the rail industry. Currently serving as a Senior Risk & Systems Assurance Advisor at Metro Trains Melbourne since April 2017, Chris manages hazard logs and facilitates risk assessments for significant construction projects. Previously, from May 2011 to March 2017, Chris held various roles at SCT Logistics, including National Rail Accreditation & Compliance Manager, where responsibilities included managing the Safety Management System and promoting a positive safety culture. Prior experience includes serving as Manager at Southern Cross Station with V/Line Passenger from 2003 to 2011, overseeing staff and liaising with external stakeholders to ensure safety and compliance. Chris is a graduate of St Joseph's College, Geelong, completing studies from 1975 to 1980.
