Jan Richards

Jan Richards is an experienced professional in accessibility and customer experience strategy, currently serving as Manager and Senior Advisor at Metrolinx since March 2016, focusing on the development and compliance of the PRESTO transit payment system. Previously, Jan held the position of Project Manager at OCAD University from August 2010 to March 2016, specializing in information and communication technology (ICT) accessibility. Additional experience includes a role as a Contributing Editor at the World Wide Web Consortium from 1998 to March 2016, and as UI Design Lead at the University of Toronto from January 2000 to July 2010, overseeing significant projects related to user interface design. Jan holds an M.Sc. in Zoology (Neuroethology) and a B.Sc. in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence, both from the University of Toronto.
