Cheryl Tinsley

Cheryl Tinsley is an experienced professional with over 30 years in the public sector and is currently the Owner of Tinsley Risk Solutions, LLC, a company established in January 2020 to provide affordable solutions for loss control and risk management. Tinsley serves as an Adjunct Instructor at Metropolitan Community College-Kansas City since August 1993 and has a notable background as the Workers Compensation Coordinator for the City of Independence, a position held since 2007 after starting with the city in June 1989. Tinsley also worked as a Safety & Training Officer and holds a Master's degree in Media Communication/Human Resource Development from Webster University and a BA (Honors) in Communication Studies from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
