Tommy Valerio is an experienced financial professional with a robust background in public safety and grant management. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst in Public Safety at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Tommy performs overtime analysis and prepares key performance indicators to track expense patterns. Previously, as a Senior Staff Accountant at Breaking Ground, Tommy managed multiple government grants, ensuring compliance with funding regulations. Additional experience includes roles as Grants & Contract Accountant at East Side House Settlement, where Tommy administered numerous grants and contributed to budget preparation, as well as various accounting positions with Homes for the Homeless, LG Tax Service, Wide Realty, and DR. JAYS, INC. Tommy holds an MBA from Mercy University and a BS in Accounting from Lehman College.
