Miahona
Youssef Alwawi, Cert.IFRS has extensive experience in financial accounting roles. Youssef started their career as a Financial Accountant at zanbaka Est. Export & Import company specialized in FMCG in 2012. Here, they managed accounts receivable and accounts payable, recorded daily transactions, prepared bank reconciliations, and managed petty cash.
In 2013, Youssef joined Coca-Cola CCI as a Sales Accountant. Youssef'sresponsibilities included receiving and depositing cash and cheques, preparing weekly and monthly reports on credit limits, and coordinating sales orders between the warehouse and customers.
From 2013 to 2015, Youssef worked as a Financial Accountant at Emirates Water & Beverage (Industry Company LLC). Youssef managed accounts receivable and accounts payable, prepared daily and closing entries, and handled accruals and prepaid expenses.
In 2015, Youssef joined Abdul Latif Jameel as a Financial Accountant. Youssef'smain tasks involved working on modules such as AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, and Payroll in Oracle and SAP systems. Youssef recorded daily and monthly entries, reconciled accounts, and reviewed and maintained the accounts.
Most recently, Youssef has been working at Miahona since 2019. Youssef started as a Senior Accountant, taking care of financial accounting roles for a project in Mecca. Youssef ensured timely closing of accounts, handled payroll and budgeting, and managed accounts operations using Microsoft Dynamics AX. Currently, they serve as the Chief Accountant, supervising the accounting team and handling full spectrum financial accounting responsibilities for projects in Jeddah and Mecca.
Youssef Alwawi has a university degree (Bachelor) in accounting from Hashemite University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. In 2016, they attended Knowledge City Learning Academy to complete a Microsoft Excel 2013 advanced course. In 2017-2018, they received a SAP Trainer Certificate from ALJ & BRITEHOUSE. Youssef also acquired a secondary school degree from Emad Aldeen Zenki between 2006 and 2008. Additionally, Youssef Alwawi obtained a Certificate in International Financial Reporting (IFR-Cert.) from ACCA in May 2023.
