David Hussey

David Hussey is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in construction and store facilities management. Since September 2011, David has served as Sr. Director of Construction & Store Facilities at The Michaels Companies, Inc., overseeing four departments related to real estate, including new store construction, store facilities, HQ facilities, and FFE procurement and warehousing. This role encompasses managing sustainability initiatives, energy and utilities for approximately 1,300 stores, preventative maintenance, and capital projects, as well as coordinating the opening of around 100 new stores annually. Prior to Michaels, David worked at A.C. Moore as a District Manager, contributing to operational excellence. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health Education from the University of Maine, earned between 1995 and 2000.
