Miles McNall

Director For Community Engaged Research at Michigan State University

Miles McNall serves as the Director for Community Engaged Research at Michigan State University since January 2014, promoting engagement between faculty, staff, and students with communities through participatory research and evaluation. In addition to this role, Miles has been the President of the Michigan Association for Evaluation since June 2018. Previously, Miles held the position of Associate Director at the Community Evaluation and Research Center at Michigan State University from January 2005 to January 2013, focusing on community-based research and evaluation for health and human service programs. Miles also worked as a Quality Improvement Coordinator at The CORE Center from February 2002 to July 2004, where responsibilities included developing an organization-wide quality management program for an HIV/AIDS primary care center. Earlier in the career, Miles served as Director of Evaluation at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago from July 1998 to February 2000. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Minnesota and a B.A. in Psychology from The University of Kansas.
