Frederic Laurin

Frederic Laurin, M. Sc. currently serves as the Senior Director of Partnerships at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute, where efforts focus on cultivating collaborations with industry leaders to enhance AI research and its practical applications. Previously, Frederic held the position of Director of Partnerships at Mila and has extensive experience in consulting and business development, including roles at BLC Consultant, HR Strategies, and Innocap Investment Management. Frederic co-founded Cnapsis Inc., an African laboratory services provider, and has also worked in corporate finance with KPMG and credit risk management with Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from Université de Montréal and an M.Sc. in Finance from HEC Montréal, complemented by a Bachelor’s in Actuarial Mathematics from Concordia University.
