Oriol Salo Gomis

Oriol Salo Gomis is an experienced corporate development professional currently serving as the Head of Corporate Development at Millicom (Tigo) since August 2017. In this role, Oriol leads investor engagement efforts to facilitate the sale of a majority stake in Millicom's fintech business and negotiates key business terms for significant transactions. Previously, as Director of Corporate Development and Strategy for Lati, Oriol supported the formation of one of the largest TowerCos in the region and drove business growth strategies. Earlier positions include Investment Strategy Manager, where Oriol led negotiations for joint ventures with a total deal value surpassing $500 million, and Investment Strategy Senior Analyst, with responsibilities for financial modeling and market analysis on investments totaling approximately $3 billion over three years. Oriol's career also includes experiences at Andean Telecom Partners and Deloitte, complemented by a Master of Finance from Hult International Business School and dual Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration from Esade.
