Paul Mead

Paul Mead is an accomplished professional in the field of product security engineering and software development, currently serving as the Director of Product Security Engineering at Mimecast since January 2017, where responsibilities include supporting engineering teams and collaborating with various stakeholders such as the CISO and legal departments. With prior experience as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at Mimecast and an extensive background in performance engineering and application security at thetrainline.com, Paul has demonstrated expertise in leading teams to enhance software security and performance in high-scale environments. Paul began the career as a Microsoft Certified Trainer and has held positions at Testhouse Ltd and ING Direct UK, working on diverse client engagements and establishing performance testing frameworks. Paul holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Bristol.
