Varughese Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Varughese began their career in 1995 as an Accountant at M/s Kannamplalil Agencies, where they were responsible for preparing financial records and handling tax-related matters. In 1996, they joined S. N. KHANNA & CO as an Accounts Assistant cum Audit Assistant, assisting with statutory audits and internal audits for various types of businesses.
In 1998, Thomas joined M/S GLASS GRAPHICS (I) PVT. LTD as an Accountant and was subsequently promoted to Sr. Accountant and eventually to Accounts Manager in 2002. In this role, they had overall responsibility for the Accounts Department, including finalizing financial reports.
Thomas then moved on to M/S Ind aust Maritime Pvt Ltd in 2004, where they served as a Sr. Accountant, handling accounting responsibilities for the company.
Most recently, Thomas has joined Mindware as Chief Accountant, with previous roles in the company including Assistant Finance Manager and Accountant in charge of claims. Mindware is the 7th largest IT distributor in the EMEA region and distributes IT products.

Varughese Thomas completed their Master's in Commerce from Mahatma Gandhi University between 1987 and 1994. Varughese has also obtained additional certifications in Excel (VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP for Beginners), How to Work Smarter, Not Harder, and Learning GDPR from LinkedIn in 2021.
