Lucas Guedes

Lucas Guedes is a seasoned professional in operations research with extensive experience in various leadership and research roles. Currently serving as Sr Team Lead in Operations Research at Minerva Foods since May 2023, Lucas previously worked as the Research and Development Coordinator at Enacom Group from September 2021 to April 2023. Lucas has held significant positions at VLI Logística, including Operations Research Team Leader and Senior OR Engineer, from May 2017 to September 2021, and was also a Professor at Centro Universitário de Belo Horizonte in 2018. With a rich educational background, Lucas earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering, specializing in operations research, from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, and has completed a postdoctoral program focused on optimization under uncertainty at the same institution. Additional academic qualifications include a Sandwich PhD in Stochastic Optimization from Université de Montréal and a series of degrees in Electrical Engineering and Production Engineering from Brazilian universities.
